Beeatoona organized 2 additional training workshops for teachers as part of its project which aims at raising awareness about the dangers of the improper disposal of batteries and electronic waste. The first workshop took place at the Lebanese Canadian School, in Dahr el Ahmar, Rachaya, on Sunday, January 17, 2010. It assembled more than 50 teachers coming from all over the Bekaa region.

The Second workshop took place at Houssam Eddine Hariri High School, Saida, on Friday, January 29, 2010. More than 60 teachers from the Shoud, the South, and Beirut regions participated in the training.

During the workshops, the teachers seemed extremely interested by the topic and were deeply engaged in the debates and discussions that took place after the sessions. Most teachers admitted that they have never really thought about how dangerous electronic devices can be, and they all vowed to involved all their communities in this project, not just their students. At the end of the training workshops, Beeatoona provided the schools with appropriate materials to be distributed to students.
