Overview

Beeatoona organized a training workshop for teachers on Saturday, December 19, from 10:00 AM till 4:00 PM at El Rancho Resort in Ghodras, Lebanon.

The workshop aimed primarily at training teachers in order to transfer knowledge about the importance of proper disposal of e-waste to students through classroom instruction and activities. During the training, the teachers were provided with informative materials to be distributed to students.

Approximately 30 teachers participated in the training workshop, coming from Beirut, the North, and the Chouf regions.

The teachers were very enthusiastic about the workshop, and actively participating in the discussions, collecting a bulk of information about the project and the competition that will take place.

The training workshop took place at El Rancho, an ecological western style ranch farm located on Ghodras in Keserwan. The lunch provided on training day was organic. In addition, participants were offered a light hike at El Rancho at the end of the session.
