Under the patronage and with the presence of the Lebanese Minister of Environment Mr.Mohamed Rahal, Beeatoona joined El-Rancho-Ghodras in celebrating the world environmental day on Sunday, 6 June, 2010, with the participation of Lebanese NGOs, organic farmers and craftsmen.

Beeatoona’s team gathered at the resort to celebrate this day, and furthermore, to stimulate more environmental awareness and enhance public action toward a proper management of E-waste. The main goal was to interact with those who have proven, all along the “E-waste and Battery Recycling for a Better Environment” campaign, that they can and will be a role model to the Lebanese society, when it comes to environmental responsibility and awareness: the Lebanese youth. The latter enthusiastically participated in the educational games that were designed by Beeatoona in order to take a closer look at their level of awareness. The participants are well informed on the subject of E-waste, fully aware of its dangers and the little things that they can do on a daily basis, to preserve their environment.

On the whole, it was a green fun day for everyone: families and groups of friends assembled, enjoyed rodeo, horseback riding, western ambiance and an exquisite taste of organic food.
